With this litter there were complications for the first time that I experienced first hand. Maybe Lalita would have made it on her own, but we drove to the vet to be on the safe side. Two babies were a bit too big for our little doe, both blue around the nose and one of them didn't make it (it probably died during birth). Another, smaller baby was born in the car on the way back from the vet (after Lalita was given a labor-inducing injection).
Our cheeky but very trusting Hope has moved to a great home with her mom Lalita with a wonderfully large and beautifully designed enclosure.
Hollywood stayed at home.
